JEFFREY M. SILVERMAN, MD, FCCP — Body Imaging, Oncoradiology
Dr. Silverman is an internationally known expert in the field of body MRI and oncoradiology. Dr. Silverman was the primary oncoradiologist at the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Director of MRI and Body MRI at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He received his medical degree from UCSD and completed his radiology training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Specializing in cardiothoracic radiology, he also completed visiting fellowships at UCSF, Stanford University, UCI, and UCLA.

Dr. Silverman has completed original research in the use of MRI for the breast, prostate, and heart and he has received multiple research grants for the investigation of MR imaging. Dr. Silverman is the author of numerous articles on MRI and has lectured extensively on body MRI and Cardiac MRI. He reviews articles for major medical journals including the American Journal of Roentgenology, the Journal of Magnetic Resonance in Imaging, and Chest. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, former President of the Los Angeles County Medical Association (District 7), and a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology at the Keck School of Medicine at USC.
